THE VENUE 

The BOC is at Blackfriars @ The Ouseburn, a Community Centre run by the St Vincent de Paul Society opposite the Tanners Arms on Byker Bridge and next to St Dominic's Catholic Club.

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT / WALKING

Buses 1, 2, 12, 22, 32, 39, 40, 62, 63 all stop right outside the building. The Q2 Quaylink bus service also connects Ouseburn to the central part of Newcastle’s Quayside; with Sandgate, St Ann's and Lime Street our nearest stops.

Manors Metro Station is only 5 minutes walk; as is the Biscuit Factory. 

Newcastle City Centre is 20 minutes walk and the Quayside about 10. 

We're also very close to a host of great Ouseburn Pubs including; the Cluny, Cumberland, Ship, Tyne Bar and Free Trade Inn.

BY CAR / PARKING

From the east (Byker) continue along the A187 crossing Byker Bridge. At the traffic lights turn left.

From the west (City Centre) turn off the Central Motorway (A167) at New Bridge Street Roundabout towards Byker. Continue until the traffic lights just before The Tanners Arms (Byker Bridge) and turn right.

There is limited free parking on Crawhall Road, Stoddart Street, Stepney Bank and Lime Street. Note: charges may apply at certain times.

Also free is Ouseburn Central Car Park, off Foundry Lane (postcode NE6 1LH) when available with pedestrian access to Stepney Bank via small footbridge near The Cluny. 

There’s paid parking available at Stoddard House on Stoddard Street and also next to Arch 6 under Byker Bridge at the bottom of Stepney Bank.

Finally, there is a large amount free parking at Spiller’s Quay on the Quayside next to the Cycle Hub which is about a 10 minute walk away.
